When it comes to surfing Santa Cruz is the place to be. For your internet surfing needs, the cafes around town are mostly hooked up with WiFi. Cruzio, a local internet service providers, offers computer/internet rentals, printing, and even travel information in their store downtown.

Santa Cruz is best navigated on bike or on foot. You may also want to take a Metro bus to see the UCSC campus, or to get you to the beach a little faster. If you get lost, don't hesitate to ask, the locals are very friendly, and can get you back on track quickly.
You can get around by bus in Santa Cruz. They go everywhere, from UCSC all the way to Aptos and further. There is a big bus station at the Capitola mall. To go further, there are Greyhound and Amtrak lines. |
