Travel Guide:

Sue and I were in Dallas just before Christmas 2006,it was our first trip to Texas,and we both found the Metroplex area very interesting.
As history buffs we found the Sixth Floor Museum fascinating,and spent several hours there.The shops and restaurants were great,and a short train journey took us to Fort Worth,about 30 miles to the west of Dallas.Both being non drivers we found the public transportation in the area to be very good,and remarkably good value as well.In Dallas,we stayed at the Indigo Hotel on Main Street.Excellant hotel,staff very pleasant,and some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in.Not a lot to do in the Downtown area at night,but after a hard days sightseeing,we were not too upset about this.We can thoroughlly recommend the Dallas/Fort Worth area for a visit,and would like to go back and see more of Texas next time.
