Introduction to Madison
Madison is a gorgeous city, located on a relatively small strip of an isthmus between two blue lakes. The University of Wisconsin at Madison characterizes the place with its forty thousand students and all the culture, liberal sentiment, and day and nighttime activity that goes along with them. Cafes, restaurants, and bars, therefore, are fabulous, particularly if you're hungry for hearty food and local beer, the campus is huge and impressive, and State Street, the one lined with backpack-toting youths and guitar players, has got some great stores and breakfast eats. Residential streets are full of deciduous foliage that make the place very woodsy and attractive in the warmer seasons, and people are generally warm, welcoming, and decidedly friendly.
